WTF is SLUSHY?
SLUSHY is the newest edition to the creator economy. Simply put, we’re the place creators go to earn $$$ directly from their fans, while posting whatever they want - completely free of censorship. A refreshingly fast and beautiful platform that combines the popular discoverability features of our favorite socials (TikTok), with the monetization tools of paywall content sites (OnlyFans).
What we’ve built is a robust solution for entrepreneurial creators who understand the value in developing recurring income via their own subscription business…selling their content and monetizing their audiences with the many tools SLUSHY provides. We allow creators to post three content types, and include other monetization features, including:
- Free Posts: accessible to all, giving fans a preview before the paywall
- Subscription: exclusive content for subscribers to view
- Locked: pay-per-view content that fans can unlock to view
- Chat: creators can set a custom price for each message received
- Tips: fans can support their favorite creators with custom tipping
- 1-on-1 LIVE Video: fans can talk to creators live via video chat
Creators have a dynamic toolkit at their disposal, they can post a combination of free, subscription or locked posts in a single carousel that can include photos and videos up to 60mins. Our chat feature starts free, but SLUSHY allows creators to set a custom price per message received from a fan. Similarly, creators can also set a custom price and length of time for 1-on-1 video chats with their fans. As for tipping, fans can show their support with tips at any time!
To join SLUSHY, we allow anyone to sign up and consume and purchase content, tip creators and chat with them too. However, in order to become a SLUSHY creator, you must join the waitlist or receive a referral code.
At SLUSHY we’re pretty transparent about money, we created our product for creators to earn, so let's take a look at how that works. We operate under a simple 80:20 split, the creator taking home 80% of all income earned on SLUSHY. We also offer a 5% referral fee for any successful referral that joins. That 5% comes from SLUSHY’s cut. So if one creator invites another, the new creator will earn their 80%, the referring creator will earn 5% and SLUSHY will take 15% (instead of the usual 20%). We believe that the biggest slice of the $100 billion creator economy should go to the people who make it possible. No, not the corporations.
Like endless creators before us, we too grew tired of watching the hard-working creatives of our industry lose everything they worked so hard for. Unclear, restrictive and ever changing guidelines, account deletions, shadow banning…censorship. Enough. So, we decided to create a platform where none of that happens.
